New Location: Tavern at Viking Lakes in Eagan

HEMISPHERE RESTAURANTS SET TO OPEN TAVERN AT VIKING LAKES THIS SUMMER IN EAGAN

11th Tavern Grill location and 7th in the Twin Cities to be near the Minnesota Vikings training facility and team headquarters, TCO Performance Center

Eagan, Minn. (February 21, 2024) - Hemisphere Restaurants announced today its plans to open an 11th location of The Tavern Grill, this time on the Viking Lakes campus in Eagan, Minn. The restaurant – Tavern at Viking Lakes – will be adjacent to the Viking Lakes Residences and across the street from the Minnesota Vikings training facility and team headquarters, TCO Performance Center. The restaurant will be available to serve the anticipated 350,000 attendees for campus events each year.

Fans of The Tavern Grill love their scratch-made menu, uncompromising guest service and endless build-your-own burger, pizza and salad options. The Eagan location will fit their full-service restaurant concept as an upscale, polished casual atmosphere with a full bar, patio and plentiful booth seating. Hemisphere Restaurant plans to begin building out the space this spring with an anticipated opening in late summer.

Ultimately, our goal is to activate campus 365 days a year and we expect great synergies with our growing event business and year-over-year attendance at community events like Vikings Training Camp, Winter SKOLstice, Minnesota Ice Maze, among many others.” 

The Viking Lakes location will be the 11th Tavern Grill, including seven in the Twin Cities, two in North Dakota and one in both South Dakota and Iowa. While the Tavern Grill continues to plan for growth, the company is committed to remaining true to their local roots in Minnesota.
